Product Overview
An RFID fixed reader is an RFID data collection device installed at fixed positions such as passage entrances, warehouse entrances, production stations, shelf areas, loading bays, and security gate areas. It is mainly used to automatically read, batch-identify, and upload data from RFID tags passing through the reading zone.
Unlike handheld terminals that must be carried and operated manually, fixed readers suit continuous, automated, unattended identification. They can work with RFID antennas, tags, sensors, light-and-sound alarms, security gates, PLCs, or management systems to support item entry and exit identification, inventory counting, asset tracking, production line error proofing, warehouse verification, and vehicle identification.
Key Features
Batch Distance Recognition
Supports multilabel fast reading, suitable for fixed point collections such as access, storage, production lines, etc.
Multi-Arcade Override
Multiple external routes RFID antennas, which achieve a recognized coverage of different areas, directions and ranges.
Stable Autorun
It is appropriate for long-term fixed deployment to support continuous reading, trigger reading and unmanned collection.
Flexible system interface
Supports Ethernet, serial, and I/O interfaces for integration with security gates, alarms, PLCs, and management systems.

FAQs
Where does the RFID fixed RFID Reader work?
Mainly installed at fixed positions such as warehouse entrances, portal doors, production stations, shelf areas, security gate areas, and loading bays to automate tag identification and data collection.
What difference does it make between a fixed RFID Reader and a handheld?
The fixed RFID Reader is suitable for automatic identification of fixed points, and the handheld is suitable for manual mobile inventory and site search.
Do you have to use the antenna for the fixed RFID Reader?
Most fixed RFID Reader requires external access to the RFID antenna.
How far can you read?
Read distance is related to output power, antenna gain, label type, installation, and field environment.
