Case Detail
Fixed Asset Inventory for a Manufacturing Enterprise
The efficiency of the reconciliation of assets was enhanced through the implementation of a single slotting and batch inventory of equipment, office assets, production tools, etc., through RFID Tag, handheld stock terminals and Fixed Asset Management System.
Access Program
Client Background
The client is a manufacturing enterprise, and the site is divided into production workshops, warehouses, offices, laboratories, etc., with a large variety and number of Fixed Assets, and with frequent changes in the use of assets and the location of their storage.
In the past, management was mainly based on asset numbers, paper tables or 2D codes. Each inventory count required staff to search and check it on a desk-by-office basis, to count for long periods of time and to be prone to slips, miscalculation, unclear location and unclear responsibility.
Project Challenges
Large number of assets and wide distribution
Assets are spread over different workshops, departments and floors, and manual search takes longer and some equipment may not be found in a timely manner because of temporary loan or redeployment.
Book information is not synchronized with the situation on the ground
The change in location, user and department of the assets resulted in the system ' s information not being updated in a timely manner, resulting in discrepancies between the book entries and the actual situation on the ground.
The traditional sweeps are limited in efficiency.
The 2D code requires close-range alignment and a case-by-case scan, which further affects the efficiency of the inventory when asset labels are blocked, contaminated or installed in an inconvenient position.
Lack of record of asset flow
The link between the loan, redeployment, maintenance and end-of-life of assets relies on manual registration, and is prone to record omissions and lack of accountability.
Solutions
Youlian Intelligent creates a RFID Fixed Asset Management system for its clients, which assigns a unique RFID electronic label to each asset and binds the label number to information on the name of the asset, the asset number, the specification type, the department to which it belongs, the location of the storage and the user.
The inventory personnel enter the different areas through RFID Handheld Reader for bulk reading, and the system automatically compares the corresponding disk assets with the actual inventory assets and produces a normal, positive, negative, abnormally different inventory results.
For Asset Transfer, loan, maintenance and end-of-life operations, the system synchronizes the operations, operating time and asset status, making the assets searchable and traceable from the build-up to the exit from use.

Results
Are there problems with your business that have difficult to account for and that do not match the accounts?
The number of assets submitted, the type of asset and the area of application, can be used to provide advice on the management of RFID Fixed Assets, depending on the situation on the ground.
